Hypercom T-4210 Terminal
Whether purchasing a point-of-sale (POS) terminal
for the first time—or as an upgrade to an existing
model—today’s value-conscious merchant has the
challenge of balancing features and performance
against cost. Because newer terminals can help
complete transactions and generate customer
receipts much quicker than earlier models, purchasing
or upgrading a POS device is often a cost-effective
decision.
The Optimum T4210 terminal combines dial-up
connectivity with advanced features including 24MB
of total memory and an ARM9 processor for faster
transactions. In addition, an integrated Payment Card
Industry (PCI) PIN Entry Device (PED) approved PIN
pad makes it easy to accept debit cards, and no
external PIN pad is needed.
With more memory than competitive models, it is designed to be upgradeable as business needs evolve, providing investment protection when regulatory requirements or applications change. The Optimum T4210 also offers advanced security features, including account truncation on receipts.
